The 23-year-old Briton Allan Staughton had the bright idea to put the cat in the washing machine and to record on video which was later staged at youtube. Soon, many users called the RSPCA animal protection organisation, they acted to remove the video and to denounce the young. After trial in Huntingdon, England, Staughton received the longest sentence to date – 6 months in prison for animal cruelty. The cat escaped with a broken tooth and a little trauma in language.
