The cheerful little okap

Okapi (Ocapia Johnston), It is an interesting and rare mammal endemic in the tropical forests of Central Africa, Especially in the Congo People's Republic. Although in appearance it looks like a combination of zebra and giraffe, Okapi is a close relative of the giraffe and belongs to the same family. His body length is 2–2,5 meters, weighs 200–350 kg, has dark brown body with characteristic white stripes on the hind legs and thighs, reminiscent of zebra. Has a long, dark, sticky tongue (up to 30 cm), which he uses to piss leaves and clean his ears. Lives in dense rainforests, Especially around the Congo River. Is a lonely animal that lives hidden and is very shy. Communicates using ultrasonic frequencies, which are not heard by man. Okapa are sorted as an endangered species.
