An unusual incident occurred on December 3, 2025 in Oradea, Romania, when a 55-year-old man literally took off over a roundabout. According to CCTV footage, the car was moving at high speed. On entering the roundabout, the vehicle struck the center island and then went into a spin, going over the roundabout and two other cars waiting to enter. The impact was violent: the driver was trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters and rescue teams responded quickly. Fortunately, the man suffered only minor to moderate injuries. Initial findings suggest he may have suffered a hypoglycemic episode while driving — which would explain his lack of reaction. The analysis showed that he was neither under the influence of alcohol nor illegal substances.
