Sky Magic Live at Mt. Fuji : Drone Entertainment Show Beautiful backdrop of the world heritage site Mt. Fuji was used to stage the first Live performance using MIDI controlled LED flying machines, accompanied by Shamisens, the Japanese traditional guitars. This was done so by utilising more than 20 units of these flying machines, flight swarming formations, music, and 16,500 LED lights to combine into a single audio visual extravaganza. Furthermore, we are able to control the flying machines, visual and audio aspects concurrently, using the DMX512.
After A 9-Year Journey, This Spacecraft Will Finally Reach Pluto Imagine the stretch of outer space along the Milky Way like a 4.67 billion mile highway from planet Earth to Pluto, the former most-distant planet. Imagine NASA's New Horizons spacecraft, an interplanetary space probe, has been traveling along that highway for nine and a half years since its launch from Earth in January of 2006. This week, on July 14th, at approximately 7:50 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, New Horizons will fly past Pluto and its five moons. Realistically, it's the first time we'll ever see Pluto. We have zoomed in on images from the Hubble, but the resolution is highly pixelated and leaves a whole lot of mystery to this distant body. You can follow along on the flyby on NASA TV live broadcast program, which will be live streaming all active communications from the spacecraft.
Atlantis Space Shuttle Launch – View From Plane Atlantis shuttle launch from Cape Canaveral, FL viewed from Southwest Flight #0921 on May 14th, 2010, flying from BWI to Ft. Lauderdale. The flight was redirected inland to stay out of the launch path. The plane is about 10 miles from the shuttle launch.
Incredible Hubble Space Telescope fly-through of the Gum Nebula Three-dimensional the nebula Gum 29 with the star cluster Westerlund 2 at its core. From Hubble Space Telescope: "The flight traverses the foreground stars and approaches the lower left rim of the nebula Gum 29. Passing through the wispy darker clouds on the near side, the journey reveals bright gas illuminated by the intense radiation of the newly formed stars of cluster Westerlund 2. Within the nebula, several pillars of dark, dense gas are being shaped by the energetic light and strong stellar winds from the brilliant cluster of thousands of stars. Note that the visualization is intended to be a scientifically reasonable interpretation and that distances within the model are significantly compressed."
Experience The Magic Of 3D Sound The Verge’s Ryan Manning uses 3Dio’s Free Space microphones to take you on a crazy audio tour through Times Square, New York; a virtual barber shop; and a 360-degree Beck concert. This century-old technology of binaural audio — which hacks your brain to put you in a scene — is about to make a huge comeback with VR.
Guitar with swivel neck Musician Charles Berthoud plays an electric bass guitar with a swivel neck created by YouTuber and engineer Mattias Krantz. Krantz got the idea to create this funny guitar while watching a Beatles documentary where Magic Alex (Alexis Mardas) gave John Lennon a double-sided neck guitar (electric and bass). Unfortunately, the guitar was not functional. The idea behind this guitar is to allow the musician to quickly change instruments by turning the neck. The rotation system is activated by a pedal, which allows switching from one "instrument" to another in a matter of seconds. Unlike previous prototypes, this guitar is fully functional.
Urinating on a burning motorcycle Saturday January 20, 2024 in Santo Estêvão, Brazil, two men tried to extinguish a burning motorcycle with their own urine. The two men were riding a motorcycle on an avenue when the machine caught fire. They stopped and the passenger unbuttoned his fly, took out his lance and started spraying the bike with his urine, thinking he could put out the fire. The other man joined him to help, but to no avail, the motorcycle continued to burn.
