An insect-like, crash-happy flying robot

The goal of EPFL researchers was to develop a machine that could operate in extremely chaotic environments without the need for fragile sensors.

What sets this story apart though, are the extreme conditions (altitude and temperature) in which the DJI Mavic Pro was able to fly. From K2's basecamp, Bartek Bargiel who piloted the drone was able to answer some questions in a short interview with DroneDJ.
