Sail Amsterdam 2025 takes place from August 20th to 24th and brings one of the largest nautical festivals in the world in the Dutch capital. The 10th anniversary is also a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the event and is linked to the 750th anniversary of the establishment of Amsterdam. More than 800 ships have visited the city and the festival attracts more than 2,3 million visitors filling the banks of the IJ River, the channels and the squares.

The biggest attraction is the traditional Sail-in parade, When a fleet of historical and modern sailboats sails from ijmuiden via Noordzeekanaal to the center of Amsterdam. Ships are accompanied by cannonomas, national hymns and thousands of smaller boats, which create an unforgettable setting. Viewers watch this arrival not only from the docks, but also through national television.

Of particular importance is the first joint appearance of four copies of famous Spanish sailboats by the Nao Victoria Foundation - Nao Victoria, Andalusia Galeon, Not santa maría και pascual flowers. Their presence adds an international historical dimension to the festival and is one of the main points of the program.
