On February 17, 2025 at a railway crossing in the village of Stara Wieś in Poland, took place an extremely dangerous scene. A Volkswagen Polo driving a resident of the area suddenly stopped just on the rails due to mechanical damage. In spite of repeated attempts, failed to start the car and get it out of rails.

A passing driver reacted quickly and managed to tow the car to a safe place using a tow rope, just a few seconds before the train passes by the crossing. The whole incident was recorded by security cameras.
