A couple from northern Idaho, USA, have converted a 20-foot shipping container (5.90m x 2.35m x 2.39m) into the perfect off-grid mini-house with photovoltaics for their grandmother. The time-lapse video captures the entire process of the conversion: cutting holes, installing windows and doors, insulating, laying flooring, installing photovoltaics, assembling the hardware.
