Man built a swimming pool in the shape of a pirate ship for his children, but the neighbors forced it to be demolished It took Toronto resident John Konstantinidis eight weeks to build a swimming pool on the property of his suburban home. The man wanted his children to have more fun during the lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic. However, an unusual object in the form of a pirate ship had to be demolished after complaints from neighbors. Just a week after the completion of the work, Konstantinides was approached by representatives of local authorities with an order to dismantle the facility. As it turned out, they received an appeal from one of the man's neighbors, according to whom, the pool was built too close to the border of the site and the fence standing there. The municipality agreed with the complaint, pointing out to Konstantinidis that the construction of pools requires a special permit. In addition, for an object of this size, it is also necessary to draw up a special document regulating building codes and regulations. According to the father, the news of the demolition of the pirate ship was extremely upsetting for his two children. He was outraged by the attitude of the neighbors and claims that they could first express their grievances in a personal conversation. Nevertheless, the man dismantled the pool, received all the necessary documentation and built it again in accordance with all the requirements of the authorities. So in the end the story ended well.

A Banksy work sold for more than one million euros destroys itself after its sale Was Banksy at the evening sale at Sotheby’s on Friday night? That was the question on everyone’s lips when one of the Bristolian street artist’s paintings mysteriously self-destructed as the contemporary auction drew to a close. Girl with a Balloon (2006) was the final lot of the night, and just as the canvas hammered at £953,829—exactly the same figure as the artist’s previous auction record, achieved in 2008—an alarm was triggered inside the work of art. Onlookers turned just in time to see the canvas slip through its faux-gilt frame and be shredded into pieces.

Strange accident with a Tesla Model X A strange accident with an electric car Tesla Model X, held on August 10, 2019 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. The driver seems to lead to a very low speed while trying to park, and then accelerate suddenly (probably mistook the accelerator with the brake or stuck throttle pedal somehow). For a few seconds, the Tesla made a mad course initially hitting a van, and then headed to the opposite sidewalk where a pedestrian was walking. The passer man probably saw all his life pass before his eyes.
Film Theory: Neo ISN’T The One in The Matrix Trilogy Think you know the Matrix? Weren't even born when the first Matrix movie came out? Either way, you probably know this world-is-a-computer-simulation sci-fi series by its slo-mo bullets, screens full of green text, and a whole lot of Keanu Reeves making his "serious face." What you might NOT know about the Matrix is that the main character, Neo, is not actually the savior of the world and acts is actually just a pawn throughout the entire series meant to throw off you and almost everyone else in the movie. But that begs the question: If Neo isn't the ONE, who IS?
