On December 6, 2020, Wisconsin La Crosse Police Department welcomes one of its officers for handling a supermarket theft. A woman was arrested by a security camera for stealing a hat and gloves, because as he said she was unemployed and had no money. She was given the opportunity to deliver to the store the items she stole without being charged. The woman revealed the thefts, and then the policeman bought them to give them to her.
