This is a concentrated sulfuric acid compound, water and hydrogen peroxide (oxygen) in a ratio of 70:30. Great care must be taken during production and hydrogen peroxide must be added to the acid very slowly, preferably during mixing. Piranha solution is often used in the microelectronics industry, BC. for the cleaning of light-resistant residues from silicon tiles. It is also used in laboratories for cleaning glass containers or pipes.
