Young people set up a shooting range in a quarry trying to hit a fake head with a centrifugal slingshot. Although the throws were not very accurate, a single shot at our target shows the devastating effects a slingshot can have on a head. Slingshots or centrifugal slingshots were used in the Mediterranean in the Neolithic period before 12.000 years. However, the centrifugal slingshots are likely to be much older and are estimated to have been used by the Upper Paleolithic (50.000-12.000 e.g.).
