How to create an artificial traffic jam in Google Maps

The Simon Weckert created a virtual traffic jam on Google maps pulling a stroller containing 99 phones. The Google Maps and other browsers like Waze, They use data from other users to see if a road has traffic. Depending on the speed and number of users on the go, software can conclude whether or not there is a traffic jam. Walking with 99 phones, , Simon was able to trick the software and make him think that there was a traffic jam. The virtual congestion can have an impact in the real world, after the navigation software will offer an alternative route to others by the way.
