Lightning strikes a tree five times- Roaring Lion Approaches Safari Group Occurred on February 24, 2018 / Madikwe Game Reserve, South Africa On afternoon game drive, our ranger positioned us where he thought the lions would walk. We were in the right place at the right time when two male lions were marking their territory. As they marked, they roared. We were in a valley and the noise was indescribable, echoing off the mountains and reverberating all around us.

- Rescuing a Cute Koala Occurred on August 27, 2017 / Ulupna Island Murray River, Victoria, Australia "A group of students with a sessional lecturer from Latrobe University Bendigo Outdoor and Environmental Education degree were canoeing on the Murray River at Ulupna Island. We had been on the river since Thursday and there was minor flood levels at the time which is quite normal for the area. Sunday morning we stopped on the banks to check a fast flowing section when we saw this koala sitting in the branch of a tree that was surrounded by water. Matt, one of the students paddled closer to get a photo and noticed the koala was eyeing off his canoe and looked to be trying to get closer and maybe jump on board, so he pushed the boat over closer to the tree and the koala jumped on board straight away to be ferried back to shore. Once he was back on dry land you could see his back legs were wet so we guessed that he has maybe tried to swim back to shore but decided the current was maybe too strong. Once back on shore the koala didn't seem worried about us being there at all and stuck around for a while taking a drink from the river."
- Road rage: Bus smashed car against trees A road rage footage taken in Qingzhou, east China’s Shandong province on May 13 has shown a bus bumping multiple times on a white car running in front of it. The collusions can be seen in the footage getting fiercer by each bump. The bus can be seen suddenly accelerated, pushing the white vehicle against road side fence then on a tree.
It was later on revealed that the bus driver and the car driver were involved in a road rage argument. What the footage didn’t show was even more horrifying. The car driver was seen leaving the car after his vehicle was pushed against the tree, and the bus suddenly turned around and run over him.
The car driver could be heard screaming for help during the whole process, whilst the bus driver was heard scolding and cursing.
The bus driver was later detained and the car driver was sent to the hospital. Local police is conducting further investigation on the case

To get here we have to drive about 5 hours through Eastern Congo, the forest, and on awful dirt "roads" the entire time. Then we have to hike for over 1 hour with over 1 ton of tools, pipes, equipment, and bags of cement, gravel pack, and construction gravel/rocks! That was through the mud and around, under, and over trees in the second largest rainforest in the world. So thankful for the help of the Water4 team supporting our Fight For The Forgotten and Shalom University drilling team! We are currently working on our 15th water well for my Congo family :-)
