Dog infested with parasitic worms




The Veterinary Clinic Touray & Meyer in the Gambia, a vet helps a dog that is infected with worms kagior. Pressing the skin of the animal, the veterinarian removes the dozens of larvae.

Kagior worm is a larva fly. Works and placed in a parasitic host (dog, cat, the rat monkey) to develop. Found in the Sub-Saharan region of Africa. It took its name from the area of Cayor, Senegal, where it was first discovered in 1862.
