Whale Shark Shows Off Impressive Mouth A massive ten metre whale shark is showing off his impressive mouth by ‘opening wide’ in this impressive and rare recording while feeding. The over-whale-ming footage was captured in the waters off La Paz, Mexico, by underwater videographer Stefano Ulivi, 42, who says the sight was a moment ‘everyone wants to capture’. The whale shark, a gentle giant of the ocean, swims into a vertical, upright position before filtering water for the plankton - some of the smallest microscopic prey. In the footage shot last year but recently released, Stefano got up close and personal with the world’s largest fish – that measured a whopping ten metres in length and with a 1.5 metre jaw.
