Some background on his case: the charges Villegas is facing date back to 1993, when Armando “Mando” Lazo and Bobby England were gunned down in El Paso, Texas. Villegas was 16 years old at the time. He then confessed to those shootings, but later claimed he was coerced by an El Paso police officer into a confession. Villegas had a mistrial in 1994 due to a hung jury, then a conviction in his second trial in 1995.
Locked in a safe September 18, 2018 / California, USA My friend got locked in a safe. We tried scaring him by pressing random numbers but after several failed attempts, the system locked itself. This happened on Tuesday night at Academy. I soon called a worker and then came a manager. They couldn’t seem to get it open so they dialed 911. While they were waiting for fire and EMS to respond, they went looking for the manual. A police officer arrived and started questioning us about what had happened. They read the manual and it stated we had to wait 5 minutes before it restarted. Time went by and the fire crew arrived. We waited and then we managed to unlock it. The police officer took my friend's information and wrote a report. Fire and EMS checked him out and after he was cleared, we left.

This 2 hour video shows the continued abuse of a 10yr old autistic boy where he has to beg to be released from handcuffs. This injustice was served by his SPED teacher that seems to have more interest in what is happening on her phone, the districts Behavioral Interventionist that obviously has no clue regarding autism since he forces this child to use his words, and a power driven officer that likes to threaten this child with handcuffs & take orders from the teacher. The district and police department continues to stand by there statement of 'no wrong doing'. This is flat out assault and civil rights violation of a disabled little boy. Next time, call mom first and tell her the truth.
An autistic child neutralized and handcuffed by a security guard at his school This is the first 3 minutes of an unedited bodycam video that shows my 10yr old autistic son being mistreated at the hands of his SPED teacher and an SRO officer that works for Denton PD, Texas. The police report indicates that my son was a serious threat to others citing that he poked a kid with an eraser and was swinging a computer mouse around other children; however this is NOT shown on the video. Do you ever hear this officer try to talk to him or his teacher? He was not posing a serious imminent threat to himself or others at this time; therefore I believe this is excessive.

Eric Kannberg was dealing with one drunken individual when another person approached him and intervened. During the incident, went on for nearly four minutes, Kannberg asked the individual to step away from him multiple times and, at one point, the man hit the officer's hand. Eventually, after running down the street, Kannberg caught up with him and took him into custody.
Saving a Dog from a Semi Frozen Lake Occurred on January 5, 2018 / Midlothian, Virginia, USA Neighborhood kids knocked on my door and asked for help because a dog had fallen into our semi-frozen neighborhood pond. After attempting to reach the dog with a 30 ft ladder, Anthony Miller and I got the kayak from my garage and returned to the pond. Anthony got in the kayak and scooted along the ice until he reached the dog, Atlas, who was in distress and near complete exhaustion from trying to get out. Anthony used a noose from Animal Control to get the dog and drag him to the edge. He was placed in an emergency vehicle and given oxygen and warm blankets. After seizing several times, they tried to transport him to a nearby animal hospital. He stopped breathing twice and was given chest compressions by paramedics. When he arrived his temperature was so low it wouldn't even register on the thermometer. Under great care, Atlas made a full recovery and was reunited with his owner who had been desperately looking for him
Man rescues stranded snowy owl from Lake Superior ice (2017) A remarkable video has emerged from Duluth, Minnesota of a man rescuing a stranded snowy owl from the ice on Lake Superior. Local birder Richard Hoeg first noticed the owl on the ice at dawn on December 3 but initially did not think the bird was in trouble. However, when Hoeg returned to the same location at 1pm, the owl was still there and a walker told him that her dogs had been over to the owl and it had not moved. "At this point I knew the snowy was in trouble," Hoeg said. "It should have flown away to escape the dogs." Now, Hoeg decided to try to rescue the owl. He waded out through broken ice and then, using a fishing net attached to a long pole with duct tape, he managed to carefully pull the bird off the ice and into his hands. The owl was wrapped in a blanket and taken to the Wildwoods wildlife rehabilitation centre in Duluth.
Rescue a dog in a frozen lake Harlem-Roscoe firefighters were dispatched to a call on the Legends Lake in Roscoe for a man on the ice trying to rescue his dog that had fallen through thin ice into the lake on Dec. 11, 2017. It seems the dog's owner found his dog in the water and tried using a kayak on the ice to get to him. About half way out he broke through the ice himself and was now in the water. First in units arrived on scene and Lt. Justin Mayton donned a cold water suit and firefighters secured him to a safety rope. He then headed out onto the ice with a second Kayak that was on scene. He reached the owner of the dog and the dog's owner was able to climb into the kayak. Mayton was then able to reach the dog and he and the dog were pulled back to the shore by the firefighters on the shore. A rope was also then thrown to the owner in the Kayak and he was pulled safely to the shore. The dog and the owner were warmed up in the ambulance and taken home. A man voluntarily abandons his dog to the edge of a highway A 57-year-old American cruelly abandoned his dog along a highway in Dallas. What he did not know was that he was being filmed by the police at the same time. Unfortunately for the individual and fortunately for the animal, this area was known to the police as a place of frequent animal abandonment. The police watched the entire scene and arrested the man for cruelty to the animal, which is reprehensible in the United States.
Rescue of a foal in the mud (Russia) Footage captures the touching moment police officers rescued a newborn foal near Shpakovsky District in Russia's Stavropol Region. The police arrived at the scene of a car accident to find a horse and foal stuck in mud nearby. The owner of the animals later explained that the foal was born shortly before the accident and the team was headed back to their stall when both horses broke loose. A police officer and the horses’ owner joined efforts to pull the foal out of mud. The mother horse restlessly watched her baby emerging from the sludge. The horses were later reunited with their herd, both reported to be in satisfactory condition.
