An unlikely friendship continued to develop between a rare Amur tiger and a goat that was meant to be his dinner, at Primorski Safari Park in Shkotovski on Saturday.

SOT, Dmitri Mezentsev, director of the Primorski Krai Safari Park (In Russian): “The situation is really phenomenal. If I was told that this were possible I would not believe it; but miracles can happen. One of them is in front of you. I am really amazed. But this is a real friendship. He [the tiger] will not eat the goat. If he wanted, he would have eaten him one thousand times.”

SOT, Dmitri Mezentsev, director of the Primorski Krai Safari Park (In Russian): “The Amur is three years and eight months old. During the three years that he has lived here, he has eaten more than 100 goats, sheep and other animals. He eats them twice a week, and it is fine with him. The thing is that this goat is audaciously brave, and the tiger decided that he will not eat him.”

A dog with 3 legs pee This is Captain. He's a one-year-old rescued street dog from Romania. He and his siblings got their legs pinched off in an act of cruelty but animal rights activists luckily found him in time and nursed him back to health. He survived with three legs and now shines full of energy and joy. He runs faster than many of his four-legged friend. The little sunshine doesn't even notice that he is missing a leg and thinks he can lift his leg just like any other dog. And as you can see, he can!

Circus monkey cries seeing a friend after a year of separation The circus monkey is a part of the seasonal show which comes to town every year. The movie shows an emotional reaction of the animal seeing his friend Miro. They haven't seen each other for almost a year. During the monkey's stay in town Miro who is a volunteer at the facility would bring him some treats like bananas and raisins. The have become really good friends. The owner of the monkey is a great circus artist who has a show of dogs and monkeys. He does take a very good care of the animals. The monkey-boy is 14 years old.

Snapping turtle bites man twice Two friends went fishing in Burlington, Massachusetts last Friday hoping to catch something with artificial fishing lures. But two large snapping turtles hindered their progress. Michael Ganley and Victor Sanchez visited the local fishing spot. "I had my phone out trying to get slow motion videos of the snapping turtles in the water," said Ganley. "Of course they'll eat anything. I cut the barbs off of a fishing hook and caught a small sunfish. Then dangled it in front of a turtle and caught one," he added. Sanchez warns him, "dude, that thing will take your f***ing finger off," advising Ganley to be careful. Unfortunately, as expected, the turtle didn't respond too kindly to being caught, giving Ganley a couple of swift nips after it was pulled from the water.

Three kittens and a herd of goats Yesterday we adopted a trio of kitten boys to be barn cats. Their mama was a feral cat. They were born in a pile of insulation and when they were found, their eyes were all shut due to the irritation. One of our very kind friends was their foster mama for an organization called Community Cat Advocates in Maine. They are so precious, we are calling them Bob (the one with no tail of course) George and Ed. They spent the day exploring and met our barn cat Virginia, all the goat kids, and the chickens. It is amazing how brave they are for little furballs! They will enjoy fresh goat milk for breakfast each morning as they get stronger and settle in!
