Yamaha MOTOBOT 2 vs. Valentino Rossi MOTOBOT 2 is an updated version of our autonomous motorcycle-riding robot and is capable of circulating a racetrack on its own. After the debut of MOTOBOT 1 in 2015, its hardware and software for autonomous riding were repeatedly reviewed and revised, leading to the creation of Version 2. Then in September 2017, one of the project’s milestones was reached as MOTOBOT successfully hit speeds exceeding 200 km/h. MOTOBOT then attempted to better the lap time set by MotoGP star, Valentino Rossi.
MOTORCYCLE RIDER CRASHES/FALLS OFF CLIFF One of the craziest things I've ever seen. Also the rider is one of the luckiest guy in the world to be able to walk away from this with just a fractured shoulder. I'm not sure exactly how he lost control of the bike but the bike got stuck in the tree. Bike still runs after being caught by the tree. Not everyone gets as lucky as this. This should be a reminder to all of the dangers of riding in the canyons. If you have the need for speed, ride within your comfortable limits and always ride with a friend.
Busted If you're riding a motorcycle, it is encouraged that you exceed the speed limit by 6MPH.
Karma catches up to motorcyclist weaving through traffic Guy survives with a only a broken wrist but his bike is disintegrated. There were several problems with this situation, the Motorcyclist was going way too fast for traffic conditions and the Red car didn't signal while changing lanes and seems not to notice the Motorcycle coming up behind it at a high rate of speed. Sad, this type of rider gives those of us who ride everyday a bad name and many people in cars don't look or signal before changing lanes.
Urinating on a burning motorcycle Saturday January 20, 2024 in Santo Estêvão, Brazil, two men tried to extinguish a burning motorcycle with their own urine. The two men were riding a motorcycle on an avenue when the machine caught fire. They stopped and the passenger unbuttoned his fly, took out his lance and started spraying the bike with his urine, thinking he could put out the fire. The other man joined him to help, but to no avail, the motorcycle continued to burn.
One of the biggest computational fluid dynamics simulation made on a super computer This is one of the largest CFD simulations ever, on the world's largest GPU server, the GigaIO SuperNODE, equipped with 32x AMD Instinct MI210 64GB GPUs, for a total of 2TB of VRAM. The simulation shows the Concorde (62m long) before landing at a speed of 300km/h and an angle of attack of 10°, for 1 second in flight. The span-based Reynolds number is 146 million.
