Japan’s Honda R&D on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, successfully conducted the first test of its experimental reusable rocket. The rocket reached a height of 271.4 meters, where it then returned and landed with an accuracy of just 37 cm from the target point after approximately 56.6 seconds of flight. The test took place in Taiki, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan. According to Honda CEO Toshihiro Mibe, the success of the test marks a step forward not only in the field of aerospace research, but also in preparation for the provision of new services that will improve people’s quality of life by overcoming the limitations of space, time and ability.
