BMW M5 E39 Winter Ride The E39 M5 arrived in 1999 for the 2000 model year and marked the first V-8 engine to be used in the M production car. And what an engine it is. The 4.9-liter atmospheric V-8 - internally referred to as the S62 - achieves 394 hp at 6600 rpm and a torque of 500 Nm at 3800 rpm. It's a fair engine scream up to the red line at 7,000 rpm. And it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in less than 5 seconds. Thanks to the variable timing of the valves for the intake and exhaust cams, as well as the individual shape of the throttle, they are among the best engines that have ever left the sacred Munich halls.
Mercedes 190 at 10000 rpm Specially modified vehicles are used for uphill races. For example. Mercedes 190 equipped with a Judd V8 engine, which has over 550 horsepower at 10,000 rpm. The car is paved and lightened to 870 kg.
Cessna pilot lands for emergency pee on busy freeway This small Cessna made an emergency landing on a crowded I-20 W in heavy Christmas traffic near Anniston. The plane barely missed a few cars and landed perfectly. The two men inside said it was a student pilot’s first flight and they had engine failure. They were remarkably calm. The student was the first to exit the plane. He immediately got out and peed on the side of the road. We helped move the plane from the side of the road after everyone was deemed safe.
Turbinator II, the first car to reach 800km/h On October 2, 2018, Team Vesco's Turbinator II with Dave Spangler driving became the first wheel drive car to exceed the 500 mph barrier. Owner, designer and builder, Rick Vesco and his late brother Don began to pursue this goal 17 years ago. Tragically Don died of cancer in 2002 and never saw his dream fulfilled. In 2013 Rick began to upgrade the car with a new turbine engine, new drive train, new traction control, new brakes and new body. It was sweet success when on the first (and only) day of the World Finals event on the famous Bonneville Salt Flats, Dave Spangler powered the car through to a spectacular 503 mph run!
Porsche 911 GTS vs Audi RS4 On the face of it, you may think that this drag race will be an easy win for the Porsche. But when you look at the specs, these cars are surprisingly similar! They both have 6 cylinder engines, along with 2 turbos each as well as 450hp! But will they be so evenly matched once they hit the track? There’s only one way to find out… Let’s race!
1257 HP Opel Kadett WKT What you see here is an astonishing 1257HP Opel Kadett 4x4! This ludicrously fast sleeper is the work of tuning company WKT. The original 1.6-litre engine has been thrown in the bin, replaced by a 2.0-litre 16V Turbo 4x4 Ecotec unit packing, the mother of all turbochargers, now running 3.1 bar!! Thanks to the F28 Gearbox the result is 1257 hp and an undisclosed torque figure, with which the car becomes a hard to beat contender in any type of drag race from a roll, as the footage clearly shows.
Old Sports Car Versus New Occurred on April 22, 2018 / Modesto, California, USA I was leaving a cars and coffee event. As I was leaving in my 1969 Chevy Chevelle SS, there was a bunch of cars revving engines. There was a pack of new Camaros and a Coyote Mustang that followed me onto the freeway. One of the Camaro's caught up to me, passed me, and then slowed down right next to me as if taunting me to run. The passenger was telling me to hit it, so I dropped my car into second gear and waited for him to make his move. As soon as I heard his car and saw him move, I floored it, shifted into third, and let off. By that time, I was long gone. It seemed like he did not stay in it since my car left pretty hard. They eventually caught up on an exit. We gave each other thumbs up and went our ways. I'm sure it surprised them being since it's an old Chevelle.
Destroyed his car with a tank After purchasing this car new for over $40,000 and then fighting for 3 long years for justice, owners Joe and Kate were DONE with their unreliable, unsave Dodge Journey.
They couldn't trust it to transport their family safely, but couldn't bring themselves to sell it to another unsuspecting customer, so the RAN A TANK OVER IT!
The importer, Fiat Chrysler Australia tried all the dirty tricks to make this go away, including writing to the media and some politicians, telling them that the vehicle had not been inspected. We confirmed that they had the vehicle 3 months before this event to inspect it and at the time all they offered was to fix the DVD player and replace an engine mount! (seriously!)
The owners suddenly got a call offering another inspection 3 days before the event (after pleading with them for 3 years), we suspect they were just trying a stalling tactic to stop the event from happening. Australia needs lemon laws, please share this far and wide to help raise awareness for the need for stronger laws in Australia to protect the consumer and stop the games that some importers and dealers try.
Mad Mike Whiddett and his Mazda MX-5 “RADBUL” Drift Highlands Kiwi drift driver Mad Mike Whiddett and his newest - and arguably craziest - addition to his Mazda factory-backed stable of machinery yet, a Mazda MX-5 named RADBUL, is a fine replica of this. Down at Highlands Motorsport Park in Cromwell, Otago, New Zealand, Mad Mike Whiddett takes his custom four-rotor, twin turbo 26B rotary engine and drifts around the challenging and technical track, showing us that he has the skills, the team and the machine to put the car exactly where he wants.
