Bike theft attempt I have my bike sitting in the front yard with TheBlankTrigger attached to test how effective it is on a bike. Apparently, this thief didn't want to steal a bike with flat tires (too much work). Thankfully, I have motion sensors in my front yard (who doesn't?) and I assumed it was birds eating my new grass seed (yes I know the yard looks like crap, work in progress). I'm glad I checked my cameras just in time to catch him in my yard, and with how fast he ran, he didn't need the bike anyway.
Cicada Saved From Bird Being an adult Cicada is a very dangerous life. There are many hazards to avoid from the time they come out of their long underground nymph stage. I often see Cicadas who have escaped a bird attack, sometimes they have a limb missing or damaged wings. The way Cicadas get around the constant threat of bird attack is by having huge populations so they outnumber their prey. But one short flight to freedom can spell the end of a life. Nature seems so cruel, but a bird needs to eat as well.

1955 RCI Food Ration Oldest Peanut Butter Ever Eaten MRE Review Post-Korean War Hello, everyone!
This time, we have 2 B-Unit cans from a very rare Post-Korean War-era Ration, Combat, Individual (RCI) up for review. We try out the crackers, jam, cocoa beverage, and most notably - eating half of a can of that 61 year old peanut butter - what has to be by far the oldest recorded peanut butter ever eaten! About 21 hours later right now, and I am just fine. Had indigestion, and slightly low energy today, but the energy part probably derived from a complete & utter lack of proper rest, as per usual whilst making these YT videos. It's more than worth it for your enjoyment These cans are approximately twice the dimensional height of the well known MCI (Meal, Combat, Individual, or dubbed: C-Ration) of the Vietnam War-era. These were bulky, inefficient in stowing in packs, and heavy.
The production of RCI's was from 1950-1958 and then production ceased and were replaced with the MCI in 1959. Units were allocated and utilized to troops until stocks were depleted.
A tiger becomes friends with a goat An unlikely friendship continued to develop between a rare Amur tiger and a goat that was meant to be his dinner, at Primorski Safari Park in Shkotovski on Saturday. SOT, Dmitri Mezentsev, director of the Primorski Krai Safari Park (In Russian): "The situation is really phenomenal. If I was told that this were possible I would not believe it; but miracles can happen. One of them is in front of you. I am really amazed. But this is a real friendship. He [the tiger] will not eat the goat. If he wanted, he would have eaten him one thousand times." SOT, Dmitri Mezentsev, director of the Primorski Krai Safari Park (In Russian): "The Amur is three years and eight months old. During the three years that he has lived here, he has eaten more than 100 goats, sheep and other animals. He eats them twice a week, and it is fine with him. The thing is that this goat is audaciously brave, and the tiger decided that he will not eat him."

Evacuated to a wildlife rescue centre, she was then bombarded by Russian missiles, leaving her severely traumatised and unable to stand. It took months of specialist care for Yuna to recover from her post-traumatic stress disorder. Overweight due to inactivity and poor diet, she slowly regained her strength. The first lioness rescued as part of the Big Cats in Crisis campaign , Yuna has regained her confidence in her new sanctuary. Having never walked on grass before, she began to explore her new surroundings with curiosity and determination.
