The estimated speed of the cyclist was approximately 65 km/h. The cyclist stood up immediately after the impact and walked around the car before sitting down at the side of the road. The driver called the ambulance due to the cyclist's lower back pain and confusion shortly afterwards. Amazingly, no bones were broken and the cyclist was released from hospital 6 hours later.
