During a dive, a female diver and her friend had an unforgettable encounter. A wild dolphin approached their boat with two remora fish (or suction cups) attached to his body, near a wound. According to the diver, the fish fed on the injury and caused the animal severe pain, which caused frequent convulsions.

After they noticed his behavior, they decided to enter the water. The dolphin seemed to quickly understand their intentions and cooperated by turning on its side to make it easier for them to access the remora. The business proved difficult, fish were hard to catch, and one of them, just removed, escaped from the captain's grasp and clung to… the diver, who was seven weeks pregnant at the time. He then returned to the dolphin.

After several attempts, the two remora were eventually removed.
