After heavy rains and floods in the Philippines, the flow of a dam is at its maximum. A young man decided it was the perfect time to try an experiment: to pass under water. The scene takes place at the NIA dam in Bansalan, in the province of Davao del Sur, on the island of Mindanao. This irrigation dam, which is managed by the National Irrigation Administration, it has become a local attraction thanks to its huge concrete spillway, which is often compared to a giant water slide.

When the water level is not so high, a drop of about one meter is visible at the level of the path used by the young man. This allowed him to sink under the water, like walking under a waterfall. With the extremely high water level of the dam, the water completely covers this step, giving the impression of disappearing under the spillway before reappearing a few meters below.
