On April 16, 2026, during a concert at the Sibelius Hall in Lahti, Finland, the audience witnessed a rather unusual scene. The conductor accidentally threw violinist Elina Vähälä's violin into the air, but she managed to stop his fall with her foot. The violin, a rare piece estimated at 3 million euros, it was made by the famous Italian organ maker Giovanni Battista Guadagnini and dates from 1780. Fortunately, the instrument itself was not significantly damaged, but the violinist noticed that the sound was affected.
