The Linkerbot Linker Hand L30 robotic arm is an advanced manipulator developed by Linkerbot, a company that specializes in developing robotic solutions that mimic human motor skills. The manufacturer's goal is to bring technology that will allow robots to work with objects with the same precision and sensitivity as a human.
The L30 model has about 22 degrees of freedom, which allows it to perform very delicate and complex tasks – from precisely grasping small objects to manipulating tools. Thanks to this flexibility, it can handle tasks that are beyond the reach of conventional industrial tongs.
The design uses a movement system with fibers that work similar to the tendons in the human hand. This principle ensures smooth and natural finger movements, while the hand can adapt to the shape of the object and securely grasp even fragile or irregular objects.
The device is primarily designed for precision assembly, research and tasks that require sensitive handling. Thanks to pressure and contact sensors, can regulate grip strength and stabilize an object during handling, which makes it suitable for use in industry, automation and medical applications.
