- Dancing with 3D effects and motion capture Method Design was tapped by production company RSA to concept and create this year’s AICP Sponsor Reel. The AICP awards celebrate global creativity within commercial production. Method Design wanted to create an entertaining piece of design that encapsulates the innovative and prolific nature of this industry. Our aim was to showcase the AICP sponsors as various dancing avatars, which playfully reference the visual effects used throughout production. Motion capture, procedural animation and dynamic simulations combine to create a milieu of iconic pop dance moves that become an explosion of colorful fur, feathers, particles and more.

The Candela Vibrophase is an audio guitar effect that produces a mono output which creates a realistic 3D rotary speaker effect combined with phasing, wah, vibrato and tremolo effects. - Light Kinetics, in the loop Light Kinetics is the last interactive installation of Espadaysantacruz a, Madrid based, creative studio.
In this piece, light is controlled by a physics simulator creating a astonishing effect.
A piezo electric sensor situated in the first bulb captures the force of the tap, generating a light particle that moves along the loop. All the shades of the energy are reflected in the trajectory of the light.
The system is powered by Unity 3D that simulates de forces that apply to the virtual corpuscle.

- Γήρανση Ένα εκπληκτικό φιλμ του κινηματογραφιστή Αnthοny Cerniellο, που παρουσιάζει τη γήρανση ενός προσώπου. Το 5λεπτο αυτό κλιπ δημιουργήθηκε χρησιμοποιώντας μια πρωτότυπη μέθοδο φωτογράφισης και επεξεργασίας. Ο Cerniellο φωτογράφισε την φίλη του Ντανιέλ και πολλά μέλη της οικογένειάς της που είχαν παρόμοια χαρακτηριστικά στο πρόσωπο. Μετά από προσεκτική επεξεργασία και animaton με τα προγράμματα After Effects και 3D Studio Max, έκανε τις ακίνητες φωτογραφίες να φαίνονται σαν βίντεο και όσο το δυνατό πιο ζωντανές. Αργότερα με λίγη περισσότερη επεξεργασία, εξομαλύνθηκαν οι αλλαγές στο πρόσωπο και τα μαλλιά με το πρόγραμμα Nuke. Το τελικό αποτέλεσμα είναι εξωπραγματικό.
