3D printed radio-controlled car

At first glance, everything seems normal: a man 3D prints the various parts of a small Toyota AE86 and assembles what looks like a radio-controlled car. But once the assembly is complete, the roles are completely reversed.

The small AE86 is actually the remote control. It’s used to drive a huge radio control box mounted on four wheels, which moves on the ground as if it were the RC car itself.

This project, called “The ‘Car’ Controller: Drive the Remote with AE86,” was designed by DjangoCashflow as a complement to his “Reverse RC” project. The 3D-printed AE86 hides the transmitter’s electronics within its body and is intentionally designed to resemble a simple miniature when held in the hand. The creator summarizes the principle as follows: hold the car and drive the remote. The 3D model was published on MakerWorld.
